**Trade and market surveillance assistant**

Job description

Tasks

• Maintenance of contract-related data for brokers and banks
• M-securities management for the technical configuration of the order routing system on the trading side
• Back-office testing of trades and monitoring Best Ex
• Trade execution: Independent execution of trades in various asset classes (e.g. equities, bonds, derivatives, foreign exchange)
• Market monitoring: Permanent observation and analysis of the financial markets in order to identify trading and price movements
• Controlling/risk: Close cooperation with portfolio management for the purpose of optimal execution
• Market and compliance management: adherence to regulatory requirements, monitoring of trading activities and ensuring a controlled trading environment
• Use of technology: operation and optimization of modern trading systems and platforms to increase efficiency in trading
• Reporting: Preparation of reports and analysis on trading activity and regulatory communication with internal stakeholders
• Teamwork: Close collaboration with other trading and analytics teams to create synergies in the trading process

Requirements

• Training as a bank clerk with additional qualification (EWM, bank business economist or similar) or university degree
• Successfully passed stock exchange trader exam
• Several years of experience in equity/bond trading (incl. market making, options trading)
• Market and product expertise usually asset and/or sales
• Ideally basic knowledge of securities processing with a focus on settlement/custody
• Project and comprehensive knowledge of the functionality of standard trading software, in particular the Wp2 systems of the custodian bank and DEO/IDE of the software provider Focus
• Efficient and highly competent at the interface between the specialist department and IT
• Empathic team player with high social skills who enjoys working in the retail sector
• Analytical and conceptual way of thinking
