**Trading and Operations Specialist**

Tasks

• Maintaining contractual relationships with brokers and banks
• M&A management for the technical configuration of order routing systems on the trading side
• Back-office testing of trades and checking Best Ex
• Trade execution: Independent execution of trades in various asset classes (e.g. equities, bonds, derivatives, foreign exchange)
• Market monitoring: Permanent observation and analysis of the financial markets to verify trading and price movements
• Customer service: Close cooperation with the portfolio management and trading department and to ensure optimal execution
• Risk and compliance management: adherence to regulatory requirements, monitoring of trading processes and ensuring a controlled trading environment
• Use of technology: operation and optimization of modern trading systems and platforms to increase efficiency in trading
• Reporting: Preparation of reports and analysis on trading activity and regulatory communication with internal stakeholders
• Teamwork: Close cooperation with other trading and analysts to create synergies in the trading process

Requirements

• Training as a bank clerk with additional qualification (EFM, banking specialist, etc.) or university degree
• Successfully passed stock exchange trader exam
• Several years of experience in trading equities, bonds (incl. derivative products)
• Market and product knowledge in securities settlement with a focus on settlement/custody
• Ideally basic knowledge of securities processing with a focus on settlement/custody
• Project experience and extensive knowledge of the functionality of standard trading software, current experience with systems WP2 of depotbank and/or the software providers: FOCUS, Trading Gate (both .NET)
• Efficient and highly competent at the interface between the specialist department/IT
• Empathic team player with strong interpersonal skills who enjoys working in a retail environment
• Analytical and conceptual way of thinking
