HCM Workday Specialist

Job description

The position as HCM Workday Specialist involves responsibility for implementing transformation projects in the area of People/HR, with a focus on strategy and technology implementations.

Tasks

The main tasks include:

• Administration and troubleshooting of people systems, including SMP, recruitment, and talent tools
• Coordination with internal and external stakeholders to develop change initiatives and system roadmaps
• Creation of analyses, diagrams, and design requirement specifications for developers and testers
• Definition and implementation of test processes and development of test cases for quality assurance
• Implementation of best practices for scalability, sustainability, maintainability, and system performance

Requirements

The essential requirements are:

• Extensive experience with configuring and optimizing Workday HCM, particularly in the areas of absence management & time tracking, core HCM, talent management, and workforce modules
• Experience working with Workday HCM, preferably in an expert or leadership role
• Previous experience in a people role where significant change has been successfully implemented
• Knowledge and experience with human resource processes and an understanding of what looks "good"
