HCM Workday Specialist
The HCM Workday Specialist will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting HR systems such as Workday and Greenhouse, supporting automation and regulatory requirements in the area of human resources. The ideal candidate will have experience with Workday HCM, particularly with absence management, time tracking, and talent management, as well as knowledge of human resource processes.
Tasks
The successful candidate will be responsible for the hands-on operation of products such as Workday and Greenhouse, as well as ensuring that their capabilities support the HR department in pursuing greater automation and the ever-changing regulatory environment.- Implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of core HR systems, including ERP, recruiting, and talent tools such as Workday and Workboard
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to develop change initiatives, system roadmaps, and the implementation of change requests as part of the people-technology roadmap.
- Development, analysis, prioritization, and organization of requirements specifications, data mapping, diagrams, and flowcharts for development and technology
- Definition and coordination of test procedure implementation and development of test cases to support the overall test strategy
- Improving testing practices for scalability, sustainability, maintainability, and system performance
- Experience in leading teams through significant change
Requirements
- Extensive experience with configuring and optimizing Workday HCM, including absence management and tracking, time accounting, talent management, and security modules
- Experience with reporting in Workday HCM
- Experience in a human resources technology role where significant changes were successfully implemented
- Knowledge and experience with HR processes and an understanding of what looks and feels "good"
Desirable qualifications
- Experience with technology and a desire to work on technology-enabled HR transformation programs and learn how technology is changing the HR departments of the future
- Experience with the talent acquisition tool Greenhouse DMS
- Workday certification as Associate, AT, or Consultant
