Head of Artificial Intelligence

Your role

We are establishing a central leadership role to drive our corporate strategy and its implementation in the field of artificial intelligence (AI). As Head of AI, you will define and lead our AI roadmap across business units to ensure measurable impact on productivity, innovation, and customer value. You will work closely with C-level executives and build a high-performing AI function.

Your tasks

• Define and oversee the group-wide AI strategy, roadmap, and governance framework to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and risk appetite
• Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of AI platforms, large language models, and data-driven solutions across the entire organization
• Collaborating with business and technology partners to identify high-impact use cases and translate them into prioritized, actionable initiatives
• Building and leading a cross-functional AI team that combines internal talent with strategic partnerships and supplier management
• Establishment of MLOps standards, model lifecycle practices, and quality assurance processes for AI in production
• Advancing the AI literacy agenda across the entire organization to empower non-technical stakeholders to understand, question, and adopt AI solutions
• Representing the AI function on governance bodies and preparing structured reports for senior management on progress, risks, and ROI

Your profile

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred
• At least 8 years of progressive experience in data and AI, including at least 3 years in a leadership role
• A proven track record of delivering AI and machine learning solutions at scale in complex, regulated environments; experience in the financial industry is a strong plus
• In-depth technical knowledge of the entire AI stack: cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure), ML frameworks, large language models (LLMs), data architecture, and MLOps
• Strong leadership communication skills; able to translate technical complexity into business language for C-suite and board audiences
• Experience managing relationships with technology providers, system integrators, and external partners
• Fluency in English; knowledge of French or Portuguese is a plus
