Head of Artificial Intelligence

Your role

We are establishing a central leadership role to drive the company’s artificial intelligence strategy and implementation. As Head of Artificial Intelligence, you will define and lead our AI roadmap across business units to ensure a measurable impact on productivity, innovation, and customer value. You will work closely with C-level executives as you build and lead a high-performing AI function.

Your Responsibilities

• Define and oversee the group-wide AI strategy, roadmap, and governance framework to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and risk appetite
• Lead the evaluation, selection, and deployment of AI platforms, large language models, and data-driven solutions across the entire organization
• Work with business and technology stakeholders to identify high-impact use cases and translate them into prioritized, actionable initiatives
• Build and lead a cross-functional AI team that combines internal talent development with strategic partnerships and supplier management
• Establish MLOps standards, model lifecycle practices, and quality assurance processes for AI in production
• Drive the AI literacy initiative across the entire company to empower non-technical stakeholders to understand, challenge, and adopt AI solutions
• Represent the AI function on governance bodies and provide structured reports to senior management on progress, risks, and ROI

Your profile

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred
• At least 8 years of progressive experience in data and artificial intelligence, including at least 3 years in a leadership role
• A proven track record of delivering AI and machine learning solutions at scale in complex, regulated environments; experience in the financial services industry is a strong plus
• In-depth technical knowledge of the entire AI stack: cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure), ML frameworks, large language models (LLMs), data architecture, and MLOps
• Strong leadership communication skills; able to translate technical complexity into business language for C-suite and board audiences
• Experience managing relationships with technology vendors, system integrators, and external partners
• Fluency in English; knowledge of French or Portuguese is a plus
