Head of Capital Risk Control (Full-Time) (f/m/d)
The Julius Baer Group is seeking a Head of Capital Risk Control who will be responsible for monitoring and managing capital risks and ensuring compliance with risk limits and regulations. The ideal candidate holds a university degree in a relevant field such as finance, economics, or mathematics.
Tasks
Controlling and Capital Risk Management:- Monitor exposures against the tolerances defined by the BoD and ALMCo
- Critical review, challenge, and provision of input to the relevant approval bodies regarding the selection of scenarios and projections of selected balance sheet and income statement drivers that have a significant impact on credit and market risks in the annual capital planning process
- Critically reviewing, challenging, and providing input to the relevant regulatory bodies regarding forecasts prepared to determine remedial measures and their effectiveness
- Monitoring and reviewing capital risk management activities and verifying that the risk profile aligns with the agreed-upon strategy
- Critical review, challenge, and provision of input to the relevant regulatory bodies regarding planning documents, early warning indicators, recovery thresholds, scenarios, and recovery options to determine remedial measures and their effectiveness
Requirements
- A university degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field such as finance, economics, mathematics, or business administration
