Head Data Officer - 100% (m/f/d)

Tasks

• Defining, overseeing, and continuously developing the bank’s company-wide data strategy, including establishing a vision, framework architecture, and roadmap, as well as designing strategic data usage management initiatives.
• Ability to drive roadmaps, track deliveries, and ensure success while aligning with the bank's broader business and digital transformation journey.
• Define and continuously manage the bank's enterprise-wide data management framework, including the integration of the data framework—with its data governance, ownership, and stewardship models—across all business units.
• Establishing data governance standards, policies, and controls; serving as a champion in a fiduciary capacity; and ensuring compliance across the entire organization (data stewards).
• Implement the mission and long-term vision; work with all members of the company-wide data team to develop the plan for the purpose.
• Contribute to the establishment of data architectures (data lakes, knowledge graphs, data warehouses, and data catalogs) as part of a trustworthy, loyal international team, liaising with data science and developing and deploying modern data solutions.
• Identification, evaluation, and automation of data usage as a platform, modeled as a single, centralized repository.
• Drive the development of a robust and comprehensive data architecture and data management architecture, including responsibility for managing operational policies.
• Development of a comprehensive data information system that encompasses data management, data utilization, ensuring data flow management, and resolving integration issues.
• Providing expertise and insights across data domains, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, data standards, and industry best practices.
• Establish a relationship management framework by defining KPIs and data performance metrics, including improvements implemented by the owner to enhance data quality, data value, and operational efficiency.
• Provide support and guidance to internal stakeholders as a trusted team member, ensuring that data requirements and governance practices are understood and implemented.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Data Engineering, Data Science, Cloud Infrastructure, Cloud, and other engineering functions, to ensure seamless integration.
• Promoting a data-driven culture throughout the company, encouraging data literacy, and focusing on training, onboarding, and supporting cross-functional teams.
• Promoting a data culture by developing data personnel's resource capabilities through early training, comprehensive support, and business management activities.

• This role reports directly to the Head of Business Architecture & Experience.
