Your challenge

• As the head of the Fund Client & Services business unit, you will shape the strategic development and cultivation of new distribution channels outside VP Bank Group with an entrepreneurial eye and signature. At the same time, you are responsible for the operational implementation and shaping the future of VP Fund Solutions as part of VP Bank.
• For you, customer relationships are more than just contacts - you are in high demand, maintain them sustainably and ensure a close business relationship at the highest level.
• You control the budget targets for your areas and use a sharp hand and a healthy sense of proportion to ensure and challenge your employees in their personal and professional development.
• You question the status quo, continuously analyze our services, standards and processes and compare them with international competitors in order to be one step ahead wherever possible
• Strategy is not just a buzzword for you, but a lived practice. You help design it, implement it and consistently support the implementation of our business strategy, promoting the ability to change in the market
• Innovation is in your blood - you are responsible for innovation management, identify global projects and lead them to success with passion and zeitgeist
• You act as a representative of VP Fund Solutions, take on management functions in internal and external discussions and represent the official perception as a member of the management.

Requirements

• Completed studies in law, economics or a related field as well as several years of professional experience in the fund business
• Management experience and/or a degree in financial markets or leadership would be an advantage
• Knowledge of structuring, NAV production, investment strategies and decisions, risk controlling of investment funds and the regulatory framework for investment funds
• Strong analytical mindset paired with operational skills, hands-on mentality and high motivation for working in asset management
• Open, flexible and service-oriented, systematic and structured way of working, fine manners both within and across departmental boundaries
• High level of social skills, ability to provide support and talent for promoting and recruiting employees
• Mature professional experience, business fluent in both written and spoken German and English
