Purpose of the role

As Head of BestX, Managing Director, you will lead regional strategy, drive commercial growth, and spearhead product innovation across various asset classes. This role requires a visionary leader with deep expertise in FX, fixed income, and equities who is capable of shaping the future of trading technology and analytics while fostering strong client relationships and internal collaboration.

Main tasks

• Management of broker sales and customer service in FX, fixed income, equities
• Act as a regional product specialist, driving innovation and development in retail technology and analytics
• Build new business relationships across different asset classes, expand market share and customer base
• Maintain and deepen trust with existing customers, ensure accountability and long-term loyalty
• Set sales growth targets independently and manage the sales pipeline precisely and urgently
• Translate market and product trends into actionable insights for the product team, ensuring content and strategic alignment
• Proactively collaborate with customers and internal teams to solve complex challenges and deliver value

Leadership & Governance

• Ensuring full compliance with internal guidelines and external regulations
• Promote effective communication and collaboration across local and global teams
• Champion a culture of risk excellence, promote transparency, challenge, and open dialogue
• Embed a strong sense of individual responsibility and ownership within the team

Skills & Experience

• Excellent product knowledge in FX, fixed income, equities
• Proven expertise in trading technology, analytics, and electronic trading platforms
• Strong credibility among both buy-side and sell-side market participants
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Financial knowledge with experience in budget formulation and management
• Experienced executive with influence on internal and external stakeholders
• Deep understanding of regulatory requirements in the US, EU, MiFID, and SFTR
• Commercial expertise with strong networks across various asset classes and competitive landscapes
• Ability to switch seamlessly between strategic vision and detailed execution
• Global mindset with sensitivity to cultural nuances
