Head of BestX North America, Managing Director

Tasks

  • Management of client sales and product coverage in the areas of FX, Fixed Income, Equities, Credit and Currencies.
  • Regional product specialist for FX, driving innovation and leading product development in trading and analytics technology.
  • Establishment of new business relationships in various asset classes, expansion of market share and customer base.
  • Maintaining and deepening trust with existing customers, ensuring account management and proactive customer retention.
  • Responsibility for sales growth and management of the sales pipeline with the product team.
  • Translation of customer and prospective customer requirements into actionable insights for the product team.
  • Proactively address complex challenges and deliver value to clients and internal teams.

Leadership and governance

  • Development and implementation of sales policies and external interactions.
  • Promote effective communication and collaboration across local legal, global teams and functions.
  • Promoting a culture of risk avoidance, transparency, responsibility and ownership in the team.
  • Anchoring a strong sense of individual responsibility and ownership.

Requirements

  • Excellent product knowledge in FX, Fixed Income, Equities and Credit.
  • Proven expertise in trading and analytics technology and electronic trading platforms.
  • Strong problem solving skills with pragmatic and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
  • Financial knowledge with experience in budget formation and management.
  • Experience as a relationship manager with influence on internal and external stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of the regulatory landscapes in the US, EU, EMEA and APAC.
  • Commercially savvy with insight into commercial drivers and competitive execution.
  • Ability to switch between strategic vision and detailed execution.
  • Global mindset with sensitivity to cultural nuances.
  • Embodiment of risk avoidance and ownership mentality.
  • Strong multitasking skills and attention to detail.
  • Courage to challenge norms and drive change.
