Head of Client Selection and Execution

Job description

The Head of Client Selection and Execution role is part of HSBC's Risk function. The holder of this position is responsible for the management of client selection and client onboarding management and executes both the governance of client selection decisions and end-to-end onboarding for HSBC Private Banking.

Tasks

• Management of client selection and client onboarding governance
• Ensure full compliance with the Group's People Policy (BPP) and procedures
• Creation of monitoring plans and implementation of verifications/validations
• Actively manage and review the alignment of processes with the agreed Target Operating Model (TOM)
• Identification of causes of bottlenecks in processes and development of solutions
• Analyzing the performance of client selection and onboarding processes
• Checking and reviewing the performance of end-to-end processes

Areas of responsibility

• Management of changes in customer registration, including opening/renovating/changing/closing accounts
• Implementation of measures to ensure timely registration
• Managing and monitoring the performance of end-to-end processes
• Coordination of tax treatments and decoupling of accounting services

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in client selection and onboarding
