Head of Direct Retail and Digital Wealth - International, MD

Job description

Lead the international side of the digital wealth revolution! State Street Investment Management is building a dedicated growth engine for direct retail and digital wealth to embed our ETF capabilities directly in high-growth environments. We are looking for a Managing Director to lead international direct retail digital wealth partnerships with the goal of securing long-term strategic agreements in Europe and priority international markets.

Tasks

• Building strategic partnerships in Europe
• Identify the most structurally suitable digital brokers and asset platforms
• Conducting negotiations for white label ETFs, co-branded products, savings plan integrations, and model portfolio placements
• Structure scalable revenue sharing and embedded distribution agreements
• Secure long-term preferred positioning within partner ecosystems
• Align institutional scale with fintech growth
• Translate platform product needs into ETF manufacturing capabilities
• Anticipate regulatory and cross-border complexity while maintaining deal momentum
• Develop repeatable partnership models in multiple markets

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in fintech partnerships, digital brokerage, asset management, or platform strategy
• Proven track record in concluding cross-border, multi-year distribution agreements
• Deep understanding of European savings plan dynamics and ETF adoption trends
• Commercially sound with strong negotiating skills
• Comfort at work between startup culture and global institutional structure
