Head of Direct Retail and Digital Wealth Management
The Head of Direct Retail and Digital Wealth Management at State Street Investment Management will be responsible for establishing and managing strategic partnerships with digital wealth management platforms to promote the adoption of ETFs. The role requires experience in financial technology, digital wealth management, and partnership strategy, as well as the ability to negotiate and close complex contracts.
Tasks
- Originate and close strategic platform partnerships to identify and execute annual contracts with digital asset platforms - Structure white-label ETF mandates, co-manufactured products, model portfolio integrations, and recurring savings plan partnerships - Negotiate platform provider or embedded positioning agreements - Design scalable revenue-share models aligned with user growth and recurring flows - Embed SSIM into platform ecosystems - Move from product shelf presence to full integration - Align ETF capabilities with product roadmaps - Promote recurring investment adoption and automation use cases - Build partnership frameworks that scale across millions of usersRequirements
- 15+ years of experience in fintech, digital brokerage, asset management partnerships, or platform strategy - Experience signing large, complex, multi-year distribution or monetization agreements - Understanding of platform economics, including user acquisition, engagement, recurring revenue, and margin leverage - Fluent in ETFs, trading plans, model portfolios, and brokered assets - Comfortable navigating institutional environments while maintaining fintech speedWe offer
