EFG's Head of Financial Institution is responsible for actively maintaining, managing and expanding our relationships with external service providers and partners of EFG entities in the areas of custody, correspondent banking and clearing worldwide.

Main tasks

• Maintaining our good reputation with providers
• Regularly review, evaluate and monitor our network to meet internal and regulatory standards
• Respond proactively to developments and problems that arise
• Have a perspective on the risk management of our network
• Negotiate terms and conditions to secure a competitive offer
• Communicate regularly and transparently with our partners about important aspects such as business development, compliance aspects and regulatory trends
• Pursue technological progress in this area in order to ensure competitiveness, not only economically
• Coordinate relationships with Thomas Murray as a service provider
• Act as a senior escalation point for problems with third-party financial institutions
• Management of the Financial Institutions team as primus inter pares
• Representing EFG beyond the door
• Internal stakeholder management with a focus on EFG's operations teams as the main users of the service
• Contribute to various projects relating to the relationship with third-party financial institutions

Requirements

• 10 years of experience in a comparable position
• Strong management skills
• Strong situational communication and networking skills in English, French and other common languages
• Diplomatic attitude
• Disciplined with regard to regulatory, legal and internal rules and regulations
• Good understanding of the financial market infrastructure
• Flexible thinking and reliable in nature
