About the role

• We are looking for an exceptional leader to head our Index Exotic Trading Business.
• In this role, you will drive innovation in the area of index derivatives and exotic structures.

Tasks

• Management and administration of the Index Exotic Trading Desk, including daily risk management, pricing, and execution
• Driving P&L growth through market-making, structuring opportunities, and strategic positioning
• Monitoring of risk limits, hedging strategies, and capital utilization across a complex portfolio
• Collaborating with Sales, Structuring, and Research to deliver integrated solutions for institutional clients
• Leading the development of new products in the areas of equity-linked bonds, volatility and correlation strategies, and structured index exposures
• Collaborate with Compliance, Model Validation, and senior management to ensure compliance with regulatory and governance standards
• Mentoring and Development of Junior Traders, Structured Product Specialists, and Quant Analysts
• Representing the business unit in internal governance bodies and market discussions

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience trading equity derivatives, with significant exposure to exotic index products
• Proven leadership experience in managing a trading portfolio with significant responsibility for risk and P&L
• Strong background in quantitative disciplines (e.g., mathematics, engineering, physics)
• Proven ability to collaborate with the Structuring, Sales, and Risk functions
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure trading environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in English is required; knowledge of other languages is a major advantage
