Head of Infrastructure Service Providing (ISP)
The Head of Infrastructure Service Providing (ISP) is responsible for the secure, scalable and economical operation of the entire technical infrastructure and leads an organizational unit with full responsibility for management and results. The role includes managing a department, ensuring the highly available operation of infrastructure services and the strategic development of the department.
Job description
Tasks
- Management and further development of the Infrastructure Service Providing department consisting of the IT Security, System Engineering and Cloud Engineering teams
- Ensuring the highly available, secure and SLA-compliant operation of all infrastructure services (incl. configuration, asset, capacity and performance management)
- Strategic further development of the department (standardization, automation, consolidation) in line with the IT strategy
- Responsibility for internal projects (e.g. replatforming, network modernization, workplace rollouts) as well as implementation of customer, audit or regulatory requirements relevant to the division
- Definition, monitoring and analysis of KPIs as well as derivation and implementation of concrete improvement measures
- Management of external partners, providers and software suppliers
- Responsible for internal and external audits in the area of ISP (incl. implementation of findings)
- Active participation in the IT management team, with cross-divisional responsibility and close cooperation with Infrastructure Service Providing, Data & Integration Services and Service & Project Delivery
Requirements
- Higher education in computer science (ETH, Uni, FH, HF)
- At least 5 years of management and control experience in the operation of complex IT infrastructures (ideally in a regulated environment and a managed service provider)
- Sound knowledge of platform architecture, workplace, networks and monitoring
- Several years of experience in managing teams or departments
- Leadership with a focus on the further development of people, structures and processes
- Experience in service processes and their management (ITIL certification)
- Experience in agile project and release management
