Head of Investor Relations

The Head of Investor Relations is responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of the investor relations function at Sygrum and is expected to build and manage relationships with current and potential investors and analysts. The position includes developing an investor relations strategy, communicating company information and preparing for potential IPO and M&A activities.

About the role

The Head of Investor Relations position reports directly to the CEO APAC with a dotted line to the Chief of Staff in Switzerland. The role involves the strategic and operational management of the company's investor relations function at Group level.

Main tasks:

  • Further develop and refine a robust investor relations and fundraising strategy that aligns with the company's growth objectives and IPO roadmap, together with the Group CEO and CEO APAC
  • Act as a key gatekeeper and leader for investor relations by advising leaders on visibility and reputation within the investor community
  • Establish and manage an industry-leading investor relations function that builds and maintains strong relationships with current and potential investors
  • Support the Group CEO and CEO APAC in all aspects of fundraising, including narrative development, data room management and leading the legal close process
  • Main contact person and coordinator for investment banks, lawyers and auditors in the preparation and documentation of IPO and M&A activities
  • Organization of investor events, including the annual general meeting, strategic investor meetings, fundraising roadshows, etc.
  • Collaborate with other functional areas to ensure consistent and authentic communication about the company's solutions

Ideal candidate:

  • 10 years of experience in corporate finance, investor relations or the investment management industry, preferably with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, technology or business administration, MBA and/or CFA are preferred
  • Strong, proven quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, with knowledge of financial modeling and valuation methods, data analysis and market research
  • Ability to read, interpret and analyze financial, legal and operational documents
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with MS Word, Excel and related IT systems
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex information for diverse stakeholders
  • Language skills: Knowledge of English is required, other languages are a plus
  • Knowledge and interest in the latest trends in the FinTech industry and digital assets (including asset-backed tokens, cryptocurrencies, etc.)/blockchain/STO/ICO
