Job Description

J.P. Morgan Asset Management is a global leader in investment management, offering a comprehensive range of investment solutions across all major asset classes. The asset management offices in Zurich and Geneva (approx. 30 employees) are responsible for distribution and marketing in Switzerland and Liechtenstein and serve a diverse client base of financial intermediaries, wholesale and institutional clients.

Tasks

  • Leading and developing the sales support team in Zurich and Geneva, promoting a collaborative, results-oriented, and service-oriented culture.
  • Work closely with the Country Head and Client Advisors on planning, financial tracking, and performance analysis to support commercial objectives.
  • Monitoring and interpreting key business metrics (AuM, flows, revenues, costs, margins) and providing timely insights for decision-making.
  • Managing financial coordination and reporting, partnering with Finance and regional stakeholders to ensure accuracy, transparency, and alignment.
  • Drives effective stakeholder management, serves as a central coordination point across sales, marketing, operations, compliance, and regional teams.
  • Monitoring daily sales operations, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and high customer service standards.
  • Monitoring governance and regulatory processes for the Swiss legal entity.
  • Direct involvement in important projects and initiatives, balance between leadership and direct implementation and execution.

Requirements

  • Degree in business administration, finance, economics, or a related field.
  • 7-10 years of experience in sales support or business management within financial services or asset management, ideally in a lean, fast-paced environment with direct customer impact.
  • Strong understanding of the Swiss asset management landscape, including products, distribution, and regulation.
  • Proven leadership experience in a lean team, with a hands-on approach to employee management, motivation, and development.
  • Strong analytical and financial skills, with experience in preparing and interpreting management information and reports.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence across teams.
  • High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, QlikView) is an advantage.
  • Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).
  • Fast, adaptable, and effective at multitasking in fast-paced environments.
  • Service-oriented, with a strong commitment to customer results.
  • Commercially minded, detail-oriented, and accountable.
  • Strong team player, supportive and effective in motivating others.
