Job description: Head of Structured Products

Tasks

• Define the strategy for the Structured Products (SP) business (market coverage, counterparties, product mix, capacity, risk appetite) in line with the bank's investment views and customer segmentation.
• Create and implement a comprehensive action plan for SP penetration.
• Building front-to-market distribution capabilities, including sales, origination, automation, credit-linked and bespoke structures through idea generation, market intelligence, and collaboration with wealth teams.
• Ensuring time-to-market discipline and standardized processes with clear service level agreements.
• Equipping relationship managers (RMs) and investment advisors with trading rationale, client narratives, and portfolio fit.

investment advice

• Providing personalized investment advice within the client's risk profile framework, whether through tactical asset allocation or a bottom-up approach.
• Function as senior investment advisor for advisory mandates, providing high-quality investment guidance.
• Collaborate with team leaders and relationship managers to deliver customized investment solutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to promote the SP business within the company, recommend investment solutions, and coach relationship managers in solving complex investment challenges.
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal risk policies.
• Supporting customer education/awareness and providing thought leadership and guidance through proactive investment engagement across all asset classes: equities, fixed income, foreign exchange, derivatives, private markets, investment products, and mandatory participation in the feedback loop with our research team to generate investment ideas that meet customer needs.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in finance or equivalent.

Professional experience

• At least 10 years of experience in a similar role.

• Strong knowledge of derivatives, structured notes, and risk management.
• Solid understanding of primary market trading processes and execution.
