Purpose of the position

The position of Head of Trust Services, Jersey (the "Director") is a key role that sets the strategic direction, oversees governance, ensures operational excellence, and delivers results that support long-term growth and sustainability.

Responsibilities

The main responsibilities include:

• Strategy: Contributing to the overall strategy, structure, and direction of EFGWS; developing and implementing business plans and strategies
• Leadership: Leading and managing the division to ensure that it achieves its regulatory, legal, financial, and other strategic objectives
• Relationship Management: Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with all stakeholders, communication, and influencing others
• Business Development: Driving business growth by developing new business strategies and acquiring new customers

Management

The management responsibilities include:

• Lead and manage the division to ensure it achieves its goals
• Leadership development and succession planning, and fostering a high-performance culture
• Monitoring of resources, employee retention, and development
• Assisting the Managing Director with various tasks

Relationship Management

Relationship management tasks include:

• Collaborate with the senior management team to support and implement business decisions
• Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with all stakeholders
• Communication and influence to build trust and recognition

Business Development

Business development responsibilities include:

• Promoting business growth through the development of new business strategies
• Working with colleagues to acquire new customers and develop new business
