About the job

We are seeking an experienced visualization development manager to serve as the strategic and action-oriented leader of a matrix team. The team's focus is on designing and implementing dashboards and visualizations.

Tasks

• Leading projects in the design and implementation of dashboards and visualizations. Collaborating with operations, customer, and technology teams to successfully deliver various projects.
• Analyzing technical solutions for business requirements and collaborating with business teams to identify requirements.
• Development of data, functional requirements, and cost estimates for projects.
• Participation in information delivery and business intelligence strategy meetings.
• Performing data analysis, profiling, and mapping.
• Interaction with data experts, data source resources, and support with data validation.
• Support in the development of conceptual/analytical data models with corresponding business contexts in order to perform data gap analyses of complex financial data.
• Acts as the primary subject matter expert within the organization and assists in the creation of ad hoc dashboards and visualizations, as well as in the reporting/communication of existing data results.

Requirements

Required skills

• Experience in business process modeling, developing business process flowcharts, comparing current and future processes, and effective communication.
• Ability to articulate fundamental project management concepts using SDLC or Agile.
• Ability to analyze entity-relationship diagrams and logical data models to validate designs against requirements.
• Ability to write SQL code for robust data analysis through queries, data profiling, and data validation exercises.
• Familiarity with financial reporting, business intelligence, and data visualization principles.
• Understanding of (business/reporting) tool architecture, functions, and features.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for diverse target groups with excellent moderation skills.

Education and preferred qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, MIS, information technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in data analysis or customer reporting.
