Head of Wealth Management International Desk H/F

The position of Head of Wealth Management International Desk involves managing and developing the international wealth management business, including developing business plans and servicing high net worth clients. The incumbent will be responsible for implementing investment strategies, monitoring risks and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Tasks

  • Leading, developing and managing all aspects of the International Desk
  • Define and manage a coherent business plan (product and service mix) in line with the bank's risk tolerance
  • Ensure that the bank has the right level of services and products to meet the existing and future needs of its international clients
  • Building long-term relationships with top clients (HNW, UHNW), advising on investments (asset allocation, investment solutions...), asset protection planning and implementation of corresponding financial disciplines
  • Active involvement in prospecting and positioning to increase banking business both locally and internationally

Responsibilities and tasks

  • Develop a business plan for the market(s) for which you are responsible
  • Achieving risk/return targets and optimizing the profitability of the business
  • Providing the best level of service and products for existing customers
  • Propose new solutions or offers for new customers by improving existing solutions
  • Independent project work for new contacts, possibly by generating new ideas/business opportunities
  • Monitoring and control of risks for customer portfolios (SHWM and WM), protection and monitoring of existing customers

Requirements

  • Excellent skills in wealth and asset management and financial products
  • Good knowledge of markets and asset classes (loans, bonds, UCITS, ...)
  • Very good knowledge of the regulatory framework (AML, KYC, tax, cross-border ...)
  • MIFID Advisory certification is mandatory
  • Excellent communication, commercial and analytical skills
  • Proactive, pragmatic and results-oriented mindset
  • Ability to integrate into a team and work collaboratively
