Head of Wealth Management International Desk

The Head of Wealth Management International Desk is responsible for leading and developing the international business and defining a coherent business strategy to meet the needs of High Net Worth Individuals and Ultra High Net Worth Individuals. The incumbent develops and manages a portfolio of clients and actively contributes to the growth of the banking network.

Tasks

  • Management, development and control of all aspects of the International Desk
  • Creating and developing a consistent business plan for the International Desk (focused on the bank strategy) and reporting to the COOs with significant assets to meet client needs while developing internal expertise
  • Active and/or direct contacts with HNWI (High Net Worth Individuals) and UHNWI (Ultra High Net Worth Individuals) through the Bank's international network, both locally and internationally
  • Contribution to the growth of the bank branch

Responsibilities and tasks

  • Development of a business plan for the International Desk (for which you are responsible)
  • Active risk management in connection with the profitability of the business
  • Offering banking services and products to prospective and existing customers
  • Acquisition of new customers by strengthening existing business relationships/connections
  • Offering customized investment solutions or external discretionary management services to interested parties
  • Systematic presentation of offers (e.g. investment advice/IB, credit facilities/treasury/wealth management...) to interested parties
  • Development and retention of an existing client portfolio (HNWI and UHNWI), project, consulting and retention of existing clients

Compliance and regulation

  • MiFID compliance controller (100% regulatory compliance)
  • Compliance without exception with all applicable regulations (AML, CTF, etc.)
  • Compliance with exception and control of all required information in CRM
  • Reporting all client contacts and transactions to the Compliance team

Requirements

  • At least 8 products
  • Bac +5 / B7 or higher
  • Excellent knowledge of wealth and asset management and financial products
  • Good knowledge of legal and tax systems (e.g. income tax, ISF...)
  • Very good knowledge of the regulatory framework (AML, KYC, cross-border...)
  • MIFID Advisory certification is mandatory
  • Excellent communication, commercial, sales and analytical skills
  • Proactive, proactive and results-oriented mindset
  • Ability to listen and meet customer needs efficiently
  • Ability to manage risks and have a forward-looking approach
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact and communicate effectively with internal (risk, legal, compliance) and external customers

Language skills and computer skills

  • Fluent in English and French, other languages are an advantage
  • MS Office
