HR Advisor

The job advertisement describes an 18-month permanent position as an HR Advisor at Nomura in Frankfurt, where the applicant will act as a consultant for German managers and employees and provide HR services in various areas such as payroll, personnel administration, and benefits management. Tasks

  • Responsible for benefits administration for Germany
  • Participation in the Occupational Safety and Health Committee
  • Responsible for managing the pension fund, including notifications to the pension fund supervisory authority and reinsurance companies (vesting documents, benefit statements, actuarial valuation)
  • Preparation of monthly organizational charts and HR reporting with the support of the relevant specialist team

Requirements

  • HR consulting or business partner experience and good knowledge of HR payroll and general HR administration
  • University degree or completed training or similar qualification with a focus on payroll or a related field
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and relationships simultaneously
  • Solid knowledge of current German labor law, relevant income tax laws and social security law, as well as the regulatory environment
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
  • High degree of accuracy, reliability, and attention to detail
  • Very good knowledge of German and English
  • Strong PC skills; Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong analytical and data management skills
