HR Business Advisor
JPMorgan Chase is seeking an HR Business Advisor for a 6-month fixed-term contract in Geneva, Switzerland, to serve as a trusted HR partner to executives and provide support for HR activities. The successful candidate will work closely with various HR teams to implement a cohesive regional agenda and resolve HR-related issues.

Be the trusted HR partner that senior leaders rely on—when decisions are complex, time-sensitive, and high-stakes. As an HR Business Advisor in our organization, you will support senior managers with core HR activities and help connect them with other HR professionals and specialists to resolve their HR-related issues. We are offering a 6-month fixed-term contract.Tasks
- Work closely with geographically diverse HR teams to deliver a cohesive regional program. Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) to advise on and facilitate HR processes across multiple disciplines (recruitment, compensation, benefits, mobility, etc.). Partner with business or functional HR units as needed
- Liaise with local HR advisors, the internal legal department, and the Employee Relations (ER) Center of Excellence teams to resolve issues involving managers and employees, adapt to new regulations, lawsuits, and warnings, etc.
- Supporting the year-end compensation process by ensuring the accuracy of the underlying data (including new hires, departures, and transfers), providing guidance on incentive compensation and salary planning, and assisting managers with compensation decisions
- Supporting the performance cycle by partnering with managers as needed to address performance issues, challenges, and processes; providing support and guidance on the promotion process
- Supporting the implementation of HR initiatives and efforts for a business unit and the location. Providing daily guidance on human capital issues
- Integration with management information systems (HRIS) and reporting to identify trends and outliers and facilitate fact-based, metrics-driven decision-making by clients
- Analyze processes, data, and trends to provide recommendations to the management team for continuous improvement. Ensure that appropriate controls are in place and are effectively managed for all critical HR processes
Requirements
- Previous experience as an HR Business Advisor is required
- Extensive work experience within a hybrid human resources structure featuring both centralized and decentralized functions, with cross-functional and cross-location responsibilities
- Bachelor's degree required
- Previous experience with labor law, HR regulations, and HR practices. Knowledge of the specific characteristics of the Swiss labor market. A strong culture of oversight and risk management, with the ability to ensure compliance with legal requirements and to address and resolve complex employee relations issues
- Knowledge of the full range of human resources practices: goal setting, performance evaluation and improvement, compensation planning, workforce planning, workforce reduction, and leadership development
- A proven track record of providing objective advice to employees and executives on complex, challenging issues and risk mitigation
- Strong interpersonal skills for building relationships with executives. Ability to work collaboratively and develop strong, positive working relationships
