HR Business Partner (f/m/d)
The HR Business Partner supports Julius Baer’s top and senior management in implementing the business strategy and provides strategic HR consulting in the areas of change management, organizational development, and human capital management. The position requires a strong professional network and excellent communication skills, as well as experience in HR management, ideally within the financial sector.
Tasks
The HR Business Partner provides strategic HR advice to the bank’s top and senior management and supports regional/unit heads and their direct reports in implementing the business strategy. The HR Business Partner acts as a partner to line management in the areas of change management, organizational development, and human capital management, and offers guidance to executives. In addition:- advises and coaches senior management on human resources management and complex HR issues across a broad range of topics
- supports senior management in their human capital management activities, such as strategic workforce planning, succession planning, talent management, and the low-performer process, etc.
- provides consulting services in organizational design and development, as well as in change management
- analyzes the results of employee surveys and recommends improvements for the areas identified
- manages and oversees the annual performance review process (compensation, performance evaluation, and potential assessment)
- supports the hiring for senior or key positions in close collaboration with the recruiting teams
- manages strategic HR projects and ensures compliance with HR policies
- plays an active role in various cost-reduction programs (e.g., identifying synergies, reviewing the geographic footprint); monitors R&D and cost budgets in close collaboration with the Regional/Unit Head, Business Management, and the CFO

- Extensive experience as an HR Business Partner, preferably in the financial sector
- extensive experience in project and change management
- Experience with senior management contracts, compensation systems, and strategic procurement
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills in German and English
- Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information at all times
- strong business acumen and a commercial mindset
