Job description
The Human Resource Consultant (HRC) is a trusted HR sparring partner for functional and business leaders and their management teams, providing comprehensive HR services to meet the needs of line managers and employees.Tasks
- Provides advice on all personnel matters, supports functional and business leaders and their management teams in personnel-related issues, planning, and decision-making
- Advises and coaches line managers to ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements throughout the employee lifecycle
- Supports the implementation of the HR strategy in line with the bank's strategy and the business strategy
- Supports and coaches functional and business leaders in their human capital management activities (strategic human resources management, succession planning, talent management, low performer process, etc.)
- Collaboration with the various HR Centers of Excellence, both locally and with Zurich
- Maintains good working relationships with external recruiters and suppliers

- Use appropriate channels to facilitate the search for candidates for open positions.
- Provides insightful and balanced assessments of shortlisted candidates, enabling managers to make informed hiring decisions
- Proposes hiring conditions that are consistent with the bank's compensation philosophy and aligned with external benchmarks and internal fairness.
- Manages the hiring approval process
Performance management and compensation
- Collaborate with functional and business leaders and their management teams in administering the performance management process (goal setting, mid-year review, year-end review, performance appraisal, etc.)
- Supports the performance improvement process (PIP) with managers
- Manages the compensation process with managers (e.g., salary comparison, job matching, ad hoc/year-end compensation review processes, etc.)
Employee inquiries and disciplinary measures
- Handles employee questions in a fair, sensitive, and balanced manner
- Supports managers and control functions in handling disciplinary issues and violations

- Leads internal projects that are assigned from time to time
- Participates in and contributes to other internal projects
Requirements
- Strong ability to influence and collaborate with senior leaders

- 12-15 years of experience as an HR all-rounder, preferably in a banking environment
