HR Support Specialist
The HR Support Specialist provides administrative support for the HR function at Julius Baer by managing personnel files, supporting recruitment activities, and ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations. Job description
Tasks
- Support in maintaining accurate and up-to-date personnel files
- Ensuring that all employee data in the HR information system (HRIS) is up to date, complete, and compliant
- Support with audits and reporting requirements by providing reliable data
- Supporting the recruitment process by consulting with agencies, scheduling interviews, and assisting the HR consultant in conducting HR interviews
- Monitoring and coordination of the annual scholarship program, internships, and working student positions
- Responsibility for the employee onboarding process, including HR introductions
- Managing the employee offboarding process, including conducting exit interviews
- Preparation of contracts and amendments to terms and conditions of employment
- Management of employee lifecycle events
- Coordination of HR events and initiatives, including L&D activities
- Preparation of monthly salary and pension lists
- Management of employee performance and support with the annual performance review process
Requirements
- Enthusiasm for advising and supporting employees
- Detail-oriented
- Empathetic personality with sound judgment
- Communicative, customer-oriented, and confident in business discussions
- At least 2 years of experience in HR administration or a general support role
- Good understanding of HR workflows and processes
- Knowledge of Guernsey labor law
- Confident in dealing with line managers and employees with different personalities
- Confident use of HR systems and technology
- Diligent approach to work and ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information
- Professional conduct and discretion when handling sensitive information
- Ability to set priorities, coordinate processes, and multitask under tight deadlines
- Proactive, action-oriented, and solution-oriented
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
