Human Capital Associate (New York, US)
The Human Capital Associate will support human capital management at Alantra in New York and will be responsible for tasks such as coordinating new hires, benefits administration and staff development. The position offers the opportunity to take responsibility and grow in a fast-paced environment.
Job description
Tasks
- Act as a contact for human capital queries and problems
- Coordination and onboarding of new employees, including preparation and issuing of offer letters and contracts
- Manage offboarding process
- Act as the main point of contact for employees with performance-related queries
- Administration of employee benefit programs, including health and pension plans
- Support with monthly payroll accounting
- Support with target setting, annual and half-year performance processes, including advice on performance evaluation
- Working with US management and Human Capital to ensure policies and procedures are consistently applied
- Together with Human Capital, advisor to managers and employees on employment law and HR practices
- Collaboration with Talent Acquisition to support recruitment and selection processes
- Support for US management and human capital in employee relations cases
- Supporting talent promotion and development processes, including change initiatives
- Managing data and reporting on key human capital metrics, including monthly reporting
- Together with Senior Human Capital Business Partners, support for international mobility to and from the USA
- Promoting the enrollment of employees in learning and development initiatives and advising on their design
Requirements
- At least four years of experience in HR
- Interest in innovative solutions and process improvements
- Experience with HR systems such as ADP and Workday
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
