Human Capital Business Partner VP

The Human Capital Business Partner VP supports management in the implementation of HR strategies and plans and acts as a liaison between employees and managers. Key responsibilities include advising managers, developing learning programs, managing employee relations and implementing performance management and talent management processes.

Tasks

  • Development and implementation of human capital plans
  • Delivery of excellent, employee-focused human capital services
  • General human capital tasks:
    • Direct communication with experts
    • Responding to internal inquiries about company policies, benefits and labor issues
    • Analysis of training needs and opportunities
  • Advice and support for key stakeholders on personal issues:
    • Organizational design
    • Cultural development
    • Remuneration and performance practices
    • Management development
  • Learning and development:
    • Identification of learning needs
    • Development and implementation of learning experiences
  • Employee relations and engagement:
    • Partnership with the Group HC team
    • Management of employee relations cases
    • Development and implementation of employment policies and procedures
  • Performance management and talent management:
    • Support for the performance management process
    • Identification of learning initiatives
    • Participation in the development and implementation of learning initiatives

Requirements

Key skills and experience

  • More than 10 years of experience in HR or similar areas
  • Ability to understand business objectives and interact at all levels of an organization
  • Proven hands-on attitude and flexibility
  • Ability to take responsibility and work autonomously
  • Dealing with confidential matters
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Intellectual curiosity
  • Team player with strong motivation to create a positive working environment

Basic requirements

  • Relevant professional qualifications (e.g. CIPD) desirable but not required
  • 9 or more years of experience in the financial sector
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Fluent English required; additional languages are an advantage
