Human Capital Business Partner VP
The Human Capital Business Partner VP supports management in the implementation of HR strategies and projects and acts as a liaison between management and employees. The main tasks include personnel development, employee relations, performance management and talent management.
Job description
Tasks
- As a Human Capital Business Partner, you will work on national and international HC projects.
- Working as part of the Group HC team, you will develop and deliver HC plans whilst ensuring effective delivery of an excellent people focused HC service to the business.
Main tasks
- Generalist HC: Act as a direct point of contact for professionals to respond to internal inquiries regarding company policies and practices, benefits and labor issues, and training needs/opportunities in an efficient and timely manner.
- They have the ability to understand the business and build effective working relationships to 'monitor the pulse' of employees and drive continuous improvement in employee engagement.
- They advise and support key stakeholders in important decisions on people-related topics such as organizational design, culture development, compensation and benefits practices, and leadership development.
Further tasks
- Learning & Development: Identify learning needs for the team and work with the Group HC team to design and deliver the best learning experiences.
- Employee Relations & Engagement: You will work with the Group HC team to manage employee relations cases where required, with internal and external support to apply fair, consistent and transparent processes.
- You will lead and support projects to develop and implement employment policies and procedures in partnership with the Group HC team, including the integration of legislative changes into HC policies and practices.
- Performance management, talent management: you facilitate the performance management process with managers and professionals.
- They work closely with managers and support the team in achieving their personal goals and the goals of their teams.
- They identify learning initiatives required at team level and participate in the design and delivery of such initiatives.
Requirements
- More than 5 years of experience in HR or comparable business partnership or similar professional services.
- The ability to understand business objectives and experience in dealing with all levels of an organization.
- A proven, hands-on attitude and flexibility and adaptability.
- The ability to take responsibility and work autonomously while managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- The ability to handle confidential matters with the necessary sensitivity and awareness.
- Problem solving and analytical skills; experience in managing ambiguity and analyzing HC metrics to find root causes and develop short, medium and long term plans.
- Intellectual curiosity that brings valuable insights into the team/company.
- Comfort in an environment that demands strong performance with short deadlines.
- An enthusiastic team player with a strong drive to create a positive working environment.
- Mainly working in the office.
Basic requirements
- Relevant professional qualifications desirable but not required (e.g. CIPD).
- 9 or more years of experience in financial services.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Fluent/native English required; additional languages are a plus.
