Human Capital Business Partner VP
The Human Capital Business Partner VP supports management in the implementation of HR strategies and plans and acts as a liaison between employees and management. The main responsibilities include Generalist HC, Learning & Development, Employee Relations & Engagement as well as Performance Management and Talent Management.
Job description
Tasks
- Development and implementation of human capital plans
- Delivery of excellent, employee-focused human capital services
- General human capital tasks:
- Direct communication with experts on internal inquiries
- Answering questions about company policies, practices, benefits and working conditions
- Determining needs for training and development opportunities
- Support with important decisions relating to personnel issues:
- Organizational design
- Cultural development
- Remuneration and performance practices
- Management development
- Learning and development:
- Identifying learning needs for the team
- Development and implementation of learning experiences
- Employee relations and engagement:
- Partnership with the Group HC team in managing employee relations
- Development and implementation of employment policies and procedures
- Performance management and talent management:
- Supporting the team in achieving personal goals
- Identification of learning initiatives at team level
- Participation in the development and implementation of learning initiatives
Requirements
Key skills and experience
- 5+ years experience in Human Resources or similar role
- Understanding of business objectives and experience in interacting at all levels of an organization
- Proven ability to act and flexibility
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Dealing with confidential matters
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- Intellectual curiosity
- Ability to work in a team and drive to create a positive working environment
Basic requirements
- Relevant professional qualifications (e.g. CIPD) desirable but not required
- 9+ years of experience in financial services
- Bachelor's degree
- Fluent English required; other languages are an advantage
