Human Capital Business Partner VP

The Human Capital Business Partner VP supports management in the implementation of HR strategies and plans and acts as a liaison between employees and management. The main responsibilities include Generalist HC, Learning & Development, Employee Relations & Engagement as well as Performance Management and Talent Management.

Job description

Tasks

  • Development and implementation of human capital plans
  • Delivery of excellent, employee-focused human capital services
  • General human capital tasks:
    • Direct communication with experts on internal inquiries
    • Answering questions about company policies, practices, benefits and working conditions
    • Determining needs for training and development opportunities
  • Support with important decisions relating to personnel issues:
    • Organizational design
    • Cultural development
    • Remuneration and performance practices
    • Management development
  • Learning and development:
    • Identifying learning needs for the team
    • Development and implementation of learning experiences
  • Employee relations and engagement:
    • Partnership with the Group HC team in managing employee relations
    • Development and implementation of employment policies and procedures
  • Performance management and talent management:
    • Supporting the team in achieving personal goals
    • Identification of learning initiatives at team level
    • Participation in the development and implementation of learning initiatives

Requirements

Key skills and experience

  • 5+ years experience in Human Resources or similar role
  • Understanding of business objectives and experience in interacting at all levels of an organization
  • Proven ability to act and flexibility
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Dealing with confidential matters
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Intellectual curiosity
  • Ability to work in a team and drive to create a positive working environment

Basic requirements

  • Relevant professional qualifications (e.g. CIPD) desirable but not required
  • 9+ years of experience in financial services
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Fluent English required; other languages are an advantage
