Human Capital Business Partner VP

The Human Capital Business Partner VP supports management in the implementation of HR strategies and plans and acts as a liaison between employees and managers. Key responsibilities include advising managers, developing HR projects and ensuring a positive employee experience.

Job description

Tasks

  • As a generalist HC: Direct communication with professionals to answer internal inquiries and ensure excellent, employee-oriented HC service
  • Develop an understanding of the business and build effective working relationships to "monitor the pulse" of employees and drive continuous improvement in employee retention
  • Advise and support key stakeholders on people-related topics such as organizational design, culture development, compensation and benefits practices, and leadership development

Specific tasks

  • Learning & Development: Identifying learning needs and working with the Group HC team to design and deliver the best learning experiences
  • Employee Relations & Engagement: Partner with the Group HC team to manage employee relations and ensure fair, consistent and transparent processes
  • Performance management, talent management: supporting the team in meeting personal and team objectives, identifying learning initiatives and participating in design and delivery

Requirements

  • More than 10 years of experience in Human Resources or a related function
  • Ability to understand business objectives and interact at all levels of an organization
  • Proven hands-on attitude and flexibility
  • Ability to take responsibility and work autonomously while managing multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Ability to handle confidential matters sensitively and consciously
  • Problem solving and analytical skills; experience in managing ambiguity and analyzing HC metrics
  • Intellectual curiosity to bring valuable insight to the team/business
  • Comfort in an environment that demands strong performance with short deadlines
  • Team player with a strong drive to create a positive working environment

Basic requirements

  • Relevant professional qualifications (e.g. CIPD) desirable but not required
  • 9 or more years of experience in financial services
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Fluent English required; additional languages are a plus
