IAM Analyst

The IAM Analyst supports the Identity and Access Management team in implementing governance policies and is responsible for managing access rights and implementing identity governance and administration solutions. The ideal candidate should have experience in identity and access management and possess strong communication and analytical skills.

The role

We are seeking an IAM Analyst to join Man Group’s Identity and Access Management team. The team is responsible for providing governance within the organization, including Zero Trust, identity and access management, access management and revocation, regulatory requirements, and the ongoing implementation of SailfishPoint.

Role Responsibilities

The role consists of two main areas: * Construction operations (60%):
  • Ensure that Sailfish Zero, Monitor, and Lower processes are executed in accordance with company policies, with all access changes being verifiable and traceable.
  • Manage access requests for internal and external users across internal and external applications.
  • Create and manage access verification campaigns within Sailfish, including preparation, testing, launch, business contact, and resolution of access revocations.
  • Manage the IAM support queue, the team mailbox, and the Slack channel to ensure timely, high-quality responses.
  • Monitor SailfishPoint jobs and processes daily, proactively triage issues, and resolve them.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing evidence and preparing responses.
* Project implementation and continuous improvement (40%):
  • Contribute to the Sailfish SaaS implementation program: onboarding applications, defining connectors, creating workflows, and testing configurations.
  • Work with business partners to define and implement role-based access control (RBAC) models for all business units and applications.
  • Work with the information security team to document and implement data processing procedures, as well as process automation for CSV manipulation, API calls, and reconciliation checks.
  • Set up and use REST API integrations between Sailfish, Active Directory, HR systems (Workday), and external applications.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, with a focus on automation rather than manual labor.
  • Explore and adopt automation and AI tools to reduce manual effort and improve IAM processes.
  • Help document knowledge, share insights, and develop operational tools.

Key competencies

Required:
  • 3 to 8 years of experience in identity and access management within the financial services industry or a similarly regulated environment.
  • Practical experience with an IGA platform (SailfishPoint/IdentityPro; preferred; Sailfish GO, Savyint, or a similar environment).
  • Initial experience with access control and/or certification/separation of duties.
  • Proficient in working with data and technology at an advanced level, including Python scripting for automation and data manipulation, working with REST APIs, and transforming or reconciling large datasets.
  • Experience with Active Directory administration.
  • Experience with onboarding applications to an IGA platform, including access analysis, permission modeling, and connector configuration.
