IAM Support Specialist
The IAM Support Specialist at EFG International in Geneva provides administrative support and performs compliance checks for the Private Banking team. The role requires at least three years of experience in a regulated environment, as well as in-depth knowledge of AML and sanctions.
Tasks
- Administrative support for day-to-day customer relationship management, assisting CROs and account managers in their daily activities.
- Primary point of contact for CROs/Account Managers regarding:
- Prior approval or approval (within the scope of delegated authority) of payments, loans, and customer inquiries.
- Conducting ex-ante controls of private banking activities and documentation during the onboarding process and regular reviews.
- Monitoring and approval of QYC/Recoile events, including the review and provision of feedback on new openings, periodic reviews, and updates.
- Monitoring compliance and tracking AML (Anti-Money Laundering) matters.
- Serve as a link between the first and second lines of defense to promote communication.
- Support the Head of IAM Switzerland in business development, analysis, and internal collaboration with the relevant functional areas.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of IAM Switzerland's processes and procedures.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience at a regulated company or in a private banking environment.
- Extensive knowledge of AML, regulations, and sanctions.
- Fluency in English and German, and alternatively, French and/or Italian (French and/or Italian would be an asset).
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Reliable, solution-oriented, and a strong team player.
- Always demonstrate a focus on customers and service.
