As an IAM (Independent Asset Manager) Support Specialist, you will provide essential administrative support and assistance in daily client relationship matters. You will work closely with key stakeholders to enhance IAM desk processes and procedures, acting as the primary point of contact for Client Relationship Officers (CROs) and Account Managers across a range of critical processes. Your role will be integral to maintaining high standards in compliance, quality assurance, and business development within our IAM Switzerland team.
Main tasks
- Administrative support for day-to-day client relationship matters, supporting CROs and Account Managers in their daily activities.
- The main point of contact for CROs/Account Managers is regarding:
- Pre-authorization or approval (within delegations) of payments, credits and customer/IAM openings and closings.
- Checking the quality of customer and IAM profiles and documentation during onboarding and regular reviews.
- Perform ex ante controls of private banking activities and support the improvement of the control framework.
- Monitor and approve KYC lifecycle events, including reviewing and commenting on customer information profiles for account openings, regular reviews and updates.
- Compliance monitoring and tracking of AML (anti-money laundering) matters.
- Act as a link between the first and second line of defense, facilitate communication and compliance.
- Supporting the Head of IAM Switzerland in business development, analyzing and improving process efficiency and productivity in collaboration with relevant functional areas.
- Contribution to the continuous improvement of IAM Switzerland's processes and procedures.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in a regulatory compliance or private banking environment.
- Strong knowledge of AML regulations and sanctions.
- Fluent in English. German is an advantage; French and/or Italian would be an asset.
- Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Required knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Reliable, solution-oriented and a strong team player.
- Demonstrates a customer and service orientation at all times.
