ICT Operations Specialist Data Center Services, Bern location (80 %-100 %)

Your contribution

• Execution of operational activities in areas such as servers, network, storage, databases, security administration, disaster recovery and workload automation;
• Supervision of installation and expansion work in the data center and connection of ICT systems to the existing infrastructure;
• Monitoring and control of day and end-of-day processing as well as processing and escalation of faults in cooperation with 2nd level support;
• Participation in the creation and further development of tools and processes to increase efficiency and quality (optional, depending on interest and experience).

Your knowledge and experience

• Completed training as a computer scientist EFZ in the field of systems engineering or comparable qualification with basic knowledge of Windows, Linux and networks;
• Strong awareness of quality and service;
• Administrative experience, integrity and enjoyment of direct customer contact;
• Good oral and written knowledge of German, knowledge of English or French is an advantage;
• Interest in data center operations and motivation to integrate innovations and implement sustainable optimizations.
