Your contribution

As an ICT Operations Specialist for Data Center Services, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Performing operational activities in areas such as servers, networks, storage, databases, security administration, disaster recovery, and workload automation;
• Supervision of installation and expansion work in the data center and connection of ICT systems to the existing infrastructure;
• Monitoring and control of daily and end-of-day processing, as well as handling and escalation of incidents in cooperation with 2nd-level support;
• Opportunity to contribute to the development and refinement of tools and processes designed to improve efficiency and quality

Your knowledge and experience

The following knowledge and experience are expected for this position:

• Completed training as a computer scientist / computer scientist EFZ specializing in systems engineering or comparable qualification with basic knowledge of Windows, Linux, and networks;
• Strong awareness of quality and service;
• Confidence, integrity, and a passion for working directly with customers;
• Good oral and written skills in German, English, and French are a plus;
• A strong interest in data center operations, as well as a commitment to integrating innovations and implementing sustainable improvements;
• At least 2 years of professional experience in IT;
