Implementation Manager
The Implementation Manager at Charles River Development will be responsible for leading the implementation of investment software solutions and assisting clients with the configuration and testing of these applications. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in the financial industry, ideally in the implementation of financial or middle-office investment management systems.

Senior Consultants lead the implementation of the Charles River Investment Management Solution (CRIMS). Their responsibilities range from defining client requirements and configuring and testing the application through to go-live. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of relevant experience in the financial industry, ideally at a consulting firm or software provider. Experience implementing financial or middle-office investment management systems is highly valuable.Your Responsibilities
* Lead or actively contribute to CRIMS implementations. Analyze and resolve requirements while providing product expertise and guidance throughout the project. Ensure that the solutions developed by Charles River meet the customer’s business needs and that the customer is prepared to take over and operate the solution after go-live. * Support other members of the Professional Services team and proactively develop best practices. * Prepare and deliver sales presentations. Conduct proof-of-concept projects to demonstrate CRIMS’ potential to meet the specific needs of prospective clients. * Train clients on the technology and functionality provided by CRIMS. Develop best practices for the implementation and operation of Charles River solutions and services. * Monitor and evaluate customer requirements to identify potential improvements to Charles River solutions and services. Document and communicate product improvements as part of customer-specific implementations or in response to multiple customer requests. * Contribute to software quality by identifying defects and promptly communicating them to Client Support and Product Management. Support the defect resolution process by providing clear descriptions of defects and validating the fixes received. Identify issues and recommend solutions in the documentation, and propose fixes and improvements.What we value
* At least 5 years of experience implementing mission-critical financial solutions. Experience implementing a financial system within a bank, hedge fund, or asset management firm is highly valuable. * Experience with middle-office workflows, security lifecycle events, corporate actions processing, and daily position reconciliation. * Experience implementing investment management software, preferably an order management and compliance system. * Experience with post-trade workflows and trade confirmation via matching platforms such as DTCC, TradeWeb, etc., would be a plus. * We are looking for candidates with a business systems analyst background or skill set. * Knowledge of SQL is required. * Understanding of multi-tier technical architectures, messaging systems, and relational database structures is a plus.
