Tasks
- Monitoring case management spend and identifying opportunities for improvement
- Establishment and reporting of appropriate metrics for ICA inputs, processes and outputs
- Leading a team (including performance management and workload distribution)
- Establishment of feedback mechanisms with partners (e.g. onboarding, client list screening, global financial crime compliance, technology)
- Updating ICA processes and procedures
- Management of system improvements and monitoring of system integrity
- Fulfillment of information requests from business partners and external parties (e.g. auditors, inspectors)
- Management of cases and special projects as required
Requirements
Required qualifications, skills and knowledge
- Extensive experience in the financial services sector, in operational or risk management-related areas and in team leadership
- Solid understanding of KYC/AML areas and in-depth knowledge of the various structures in the wealth management sector and related documentation
- Legal or compliance background with solid knowledge of Swiss law, CCOB, OBA-FINMIA and other regulatory topics related to companies with complex structures
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a can-do attitude and passion for promoting best practices
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound and balanced judgments and pay attention to detail
- Ability to coordinate issues, results and practices with colleagues across regions and/or departments
- Ability to apply business knowledge to new situations and approach situations both globally and product-specifically
- Team player with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, high-pressure and ever-changing environment
- Ability to handle highly confidential information professionally
- Fluency in English is required
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially in Word and Excel
Preferred qualifications, skills and knowledge
- A university degree in finance, law or compliance would be preferred
- Fluent language skills in French, German, Spanish, Arabic or Portuguese would also be an advantage
