Income Specialist (Full-Time)
The Julius Baer Group is seeking an Income Specialist (full-time position) who will be responsible for reconciling and correcting collateral and cash discrepancies, managing securities lending and borrowing positions, and processing payments. The ideal candidate is highly self-motivated, a team player, and has excellent German and English language skills.
Job description
The role of Income Specialist involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of the respective function to ensure that operations run smoothly, maintain high quality, comply with agreed standards and objectives, and are conducted with a focus on risk management.Tasks
The main tasks include:- Reconciliation and Correction of Security and Cash Discrepancies
- Identification and processing of securities lending and borrowing positions, as well as correspondence with counterparties
- Processing of internal and external payments
- Timely and professional management of the service mailbox and hotline
Requirements
The following qualities and qualifications are required for this position:- High degree of independence and a strong sense of responsibility
- Ability to work in a team, camaraderie, and reliability
- Independence, accuracy, resilience, and flexibility
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English
- A passion for professional and technical details
- Banking apprenticeship, basic business training, or high school diploma (preferably with banking experience)
- Knowledge of securities (experience with administrative transactions is a plus)
