Information Security Officer (m/f) Full-time

Tasks

• Maintaining and improving information security and adapting it to changing regulatory requirements
• Developing and improving an appropriate internal control system (ICS) for information security, conducting audits within one’s area of responsibility, and identifying potential improvement measures
• Planning and coordination of technical and organizational information security assessments
• Assistance in handling information security incidents and any related data breaches
• Advising the head of the IT department and IT staff on the implementation and execution of information security processes
• Advising and supporting those responsible in fulfilling their duties regarding information security
• Support for training and raising employee awareness regarding information security
• Support for external and internal audits on information security issues
• Coordination of information security issues
• Definition of security variables and regular reporting on information security

Requirements

• Advanced vocational training (H.F., university of applied sciences, or university degree), preferably in computer science, business informatics, or a related field
• Additional training in information security is a plus (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISSA, MAS)
• Several years (at least 3 years) of professional experience in a similar position within a highly regulated environment
• Clear and audience-appropriate communication skills, a high degree of personal responsibility, effective time management, a structured approach to work, the ability to make focused and analytical decisions, and a pragmatic, problem-solving mindset
