Information Security Officer (m/f)
Glarner Kantonalbank is seeking a dedicated and assertive individual to serve as Information Security Officer, responsible for managing risks and conducting audits in the area of information security. Tasks
- Maintaining and improving information security and adapting it to changing regulatory requirements
- Developing and improving an appropriate internal control system (ICS) for information security, conducting audits within one’s own area of responsibility, and identifying potential improvement measures
- Planning and coordination of technical and organizational information security assessments
- Support in handling information security incidents and any related data breaches
- Advising the head and staff of the IT department on the implementation and execution of information security processes
- Advising and supporting those responsible in fulfilling their duties regarding information security
- Support for training and raising employee awareness regarding information security
- Support for external and internal audits on information security issues
- Coordination of information security issues
- Definition of security variables and regular reporting on information security
Requirements
- Advanced professional education (H.F./FH or university degree), preferably in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable field
- Additional training in information security is a plus (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA, MAS)
- Several years (at least 5 years) of professional experience in a comparable position in a regulated environment or as an information security consultant
- Time management, a structured approach to work, the ability to make fact-based and analytical decisions, and a pragmatic, problem-solving mindset
