Information Security Officer (m/f)
Glarner Kantonalbank is seeking a dedicated Information Security Officer who will be responsible for managing risks and conducting audits within their area of responsibility, and who will contribute to a sustainable security culture. The ideal candidate will have a higher vocational degree, several years of professional experience in a regulated environment, and expertise in information security.
Tasks
- Maintaining and improving information security and adapting it to changing regulatory requirements - Developing and improving an appropriate internal control system (ICS) for information security, conducting controls within one’s own area of responsibility, and identifying potential improvement measures - Planning and coordinating technical and organizational information security assessments - Assisting in the handling of information security incidents and any associated data breaches - Advising the head of IT and IT staff on the implementation and execution of information security processes - Advising and supporting those responsible in fulfilling their information security responsibilities - Assisting with training and raising employee awareness regarding information security - Assisting with external and internal audits on information security topics - Coordinating information security matters - Defining security metrics and providing regular reporting on information securityRequirements
- Advanced vocational training (H.F./FH or university degree), preferably in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable field - Additional training in information security is a plus (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA, MAS) - Several years (at least 5 years) of professional experience in a comparable position in a regulated environment or as an information security consultant - Time management skills, a structured approach to work, the ability to make fact-based and analytical decisions, and a pragmatic, problem-solving mindsetWe offer
