Senior Cobol Development Engineer / IBMi (m/f/x)

Job description

We are looking for a Senior Cobol Development Engineer / IBMi (m/f/x) - 80%-100% hybrid in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Tasks

• Collaborate with business analysts and team members to understand business needs and propose optimized, high-quality technical solutions.
• Contribute to all stages of the development lifecycle, including design, documentation, decomposition, costing, implementation, testing, delivery, and maintenance of solutions.
• Participate actively in team meetings.
• Contribute to continuous improvement within the team (architecture, testing, processes, performance, optimization).

Requirements

Technical skills (hard skills)

• Higher education diploma in computer science from a university of applied sciences or EPFL, or equivalent
• Proven experience in Cobol programming on IBM systems (AS/400, iSeries, System-I) and DB2
• Knowledge of RPG
• Experience in developing REST/SOAP APIs
• Experience with the RDT and Arcad frameworks
• Excellent command of French and minimum English level B2
