Security Platform Engineer

Banque Cantonale Vaudoise (BCV) is looking for a platform security engineer to act as the manager responsible for the bank's filtering platform, ensuring its stability, maintenance, and evolution. The ideal candidate will have at least 4-5 years of experience in IT, particularly in the area of filtering and security, as well as strong security awareness and analytical skills.

Vos missions principales

  • Become the official manager of the bank's filtering platform, which consists of nine software programs that enable filtering at various levels (web filtering, email filtering, data loss prevention, session recording, antivirus).
  • In addition to the Service Desk, which handles first-level requests, respond to tickets and specific requests for managed platforms.
  • Ensure the stability of the platforms under management, their updating, and their development.
  • Define a three-year strategy for developing the platform and implement these changes. Update internal documentation on platform management.
  • Respond to requests via a ticketing system, in particular by assigning rights, validating Service Deck activities, or any other request related to the platforms under management.
  • Respond to incidents of blocking following suspected data leaks, unblocking blocked emails, updating white and black lists.
  • Process requests for exceptions to access external websites.
  • Ensure that the platforms under management are functioning properly and take the necessary action in the event of a suspected or confirmed problem.
  • Write and maintain technical documentation and user guides.
  • Perform regular checks on the platform or perform bank checks that require knowledge of the platforms under management from time to time.
  • Determine and update the platform's development strategy in line with the Bank's current and future needs, based on knowledge of existing tools in use on the market.
  • Perform daily processing of alerts raised by the platform's automated monitoring.

Votre profil

  • Minimum 4 to 5 years of experience in the field.
  • Experience in IT, particularly with web filtering, email, or data scanning.
  • Experience in banking or any other field requiring a high level of security and rigor.
  • A mindset focused on safety and service in order to contribute to the department's safety objectives and provide quality service to stakeholders.
  • Technical certifications related to the activities of this position or to safety in general are a plus.
  • An analytical mind, a mind capable of synthesis, enabling the presentation of status during.
  • Your place of residence in Switzerland: This position is subject to on-call duty, so your place of residence must be in Switzerland.
  • Demonstrate a high level of responsibility and professionalism in your previous jobs.
  • French as my mother tongue with very good knowledge of English.
  • Expertise in the following software is a big plus: Proofpoint, Scanmail, Bluecoat, Trellix, Symantec Data Loss Prevention, File box.
