Mainframe Middleware Systems Engineer (M/F)

Tasks

Your technical skills:

• Experienced professional in the configuration and operation of CICS, DB2, and MQ on Z/OS,
• expert in JCL, REXX, REXX ISPF, and RACF,
• knowledge of COBOL, REXX, DB2, and assembly language,
• knowledge of Z/OS, USS, and MVS storage management tools (dfsms, dfrmm, and dfhsm),
• Solid hands-on knowledge of middleware on Z/OS: CICS (including CICSplex, DB2, and MQ), MQ, WAS, IHS, CTG, and DB2 to provide on-call support,
• Knowledge of TWS/OPC, HSM, Java, and Unix.

Requirements

Votre profil :

• Master's degree in computer science (or equivalent),
• 5–10 years of experience as a mainframe systems engineer,
• Practical experience in installing and configuring mainframe software and providing Level 3 technical support,
• ability to provide on-call and production support services outside of business hours and on weekends,
• sense of responsibility, thoroughness, and independence,
• problem-solving skills, customer service orientation, team spirit,
• fluent in French and very good command of English,
• Resident in Switzerland or intention to take up residence in Switzerland.
