Mainframe Middleware Systems Engineer
Banque Cantonale Vaudoise (BCV) is seeking an experienced Mainframe Middleware Systems Engineer with extensive knowledge of mainframe technologies such as CICS, DB2, and MQ. The ideal candidate will have 5–10 years of experience in a similar role and demonstrate a high degree of independence as well as the ability to work effectively in a team.

Mainframe Middleware Systems EngineerTasks
Your technical skills:- Experienced professional in the configuration and operation of CICS, DB2, and MQ on z/OS; expert in JCL, REXX, REXX ISPF, and RACF
- Knowledge of COBOL, REXX, DB2, and assembly language
- Strong knowledge of Z/OS, USS, Z/OS management tools, Omegamon, and MVS storage management (DFSMS, DFRMM, and DFHSM)
- Operational knowledge of middleware on Z/OS: CICS (options: CICSPLEX, DB2, MQ), WAS, IHS, CTG, and DB2 to provide on-call support
- Keywords: TWS/OPC, HSM, Java, and Unix
Requirements
Votre profil :- Master's degree in computer science (or equivalent)
- 5–10 years of experience in a mainframe systems engineering role
- Practical experience in installing and configuring mainframe software and providing Level 3 technical support
- Ability to provide on-call and production support services outside of regular business hours and on weekends
- Sense of responsibility, thoroughness, and independence
- Orientation skills, customer service orientation, team spirit
- Fluent in French and very proficient in English
- Resident in Switzerland or intention to take up residence in Switzerland
