Mainframe Middleware Systems Engineer (M/F)

Tasks

Your technical skills:

• Experienced professional in the configuration and operation of CICS, DB2, and MQ on z/OS
• Expert in JCL, REXX, REXX ISPF, and RACF
• Knowledge of COBOL, REXX, DB2, and assembly language
• In-depth knowledge of Z/OS, USS, Z/OS management tools, Omegamon, and MVS storage management (DFSMS, DFREM, and DFHSM)
• Solid hands-on knowledge of middleware on Z/OS: CICS (options: CICSPLEX, DB2, MQ), MQ, WAS, IHS, CTG, and DB2 to provide on-call support
• Knowledge of TWS/OPC, HSM, Java, and Unix

Requirements

Votre profil :

• Holds an advanced degree in computer science (Master’s or equivalent)
• 5–10 years of experience in a mainframe systems engineering role
• Practical experience in installing and configuring mainframe software and providing Level 3 technical support
• Ability to provide on-call and production support services outside of regular business hours and on weekends
• Sense of responsibility, thoroughness, and independence
• Orientation skills, customer service orientation, team spirit
• Fluent in French and very proficient in English
• Resident in Switzerland or intention to take up residence in Switzerland
